Announcing "Ben Alexander Talks"

Plus Ben's Pod Episode 2

Today, I’m proud to announce the launch of my public speaking website www.benalexandertalks.com where I share my journey and insights to help others manage their energy for peak performance and well-being.

I love talking about energy because I’ve burned out more times than I can count.

But through those experiences, I've discovered strategies to manage my energy effectively, allowing me to perform better without burning out. And by better, I mean more consistent.

However, the thought of speaking publicly about it made me sick. I was convinced I had nothing useful to say and feared what people would think.

But writing here helped organise my thoughts, and when I was asked to help do a talk about how managing energy levels impacts performance while at KPMG, I reluctantly agreed.

The first talk

Surprisingly, the response was great and I got asked to do more, even travelling interstate to present!

Then as my confidence grew, I learned I had stories worth sharing and now love public speaking.

So with some encouragement from my wife (and help from

), I’ve launched the site so I can help more people avoid burnout, and have the energy to do meaningful stuff.

Would love to know what you think of it, and thanks for reading.

Ben’s Pod - Episode 2

Thanks to everyone who listened last week! Your support means a lot, and this week I talk about:

  • Overcoming the pressure for perfection.

  • The launch of my public speaking website

  • My journey from fearing public speaking to loving it

  • The importance of energy management in maintaining mental and physical health

I'll keep it going because I really enjoyed the challenge of recording it last week, and it helps me practice talking off the cuff.

Plus I have my first guest booked in. Someone who has a different opinion to me about role energy levels plays has on mental health. Should be fun!
