With the school holidays approaching, I’m gonna take a few weeks off the blog to review my writing and to recharge my creative juices.
I enjoy blogging, but reflecting on my struggles with my weight and eating has left me a bit emotionally drained.
It’s an important topic that’s close to my heart, and I’ll keep my blogs shorter and more concise when I start writing again.
But before I sign off for the holidays, I’ll leave you with this article from journalist Sophie Gilbert, about her eating struggles and how she believes parts of the fitness industry are profiting off (and perpetuating) a vicious cycle of self loathing.
A cycle I’m all too familiar with.
