I haven't used it for this purpose, but can see how useful it has been for you (and potentially others). I have however used it as a study buddy to bounce ideas off as I've mentioned previously. I'm missing the engagement of class mates for assignments and class content. The online discussion boards are just not the same.
I’ve been using it in that way too to explain concepts and terms I don’t understand. Like this morning I learned how a city can be both balkanized and atomised, and what each term meant! Crazy how well it can explain topics to dummy’s like me!
Totally agree and even with rapidly improving tech enhancements, I doubt online will ever beat in person for collaborating and social connection.

Similar to massage chairs, guns and rollers etc. They will never replace the need for a massage treatment :)
