If you've been following my blog for a while, you'll know I've had some ups and downs.
But at the moment, life is just ups and I feel my career transition is finally complete.
After years of searching for a career as fulfilling as rugby, I’ve finally found it. My talks are going great and I’m now working one day a week for Running for Resilience!
And all that means I’m back full-time doing work I’m passionate about and I feel great.
It's been a journey full of fuck-ups and uncertainty, and there’s been heaps of times where I've felt like giving up to settle for a clearer path.
But I’m so proud I followed my heart with work, and want to take a moment to enjoy it, because the old Ben would have instantly rushed to what’s next.
We even dodged a bullet last week when someone close to us fortunately got a skin check, found three cancers, and got told they could have been dead within a year if they hadn't gotten checked!
Talk about getting lucky and I’m sorry as I don’t mean for this blog to be a brag.
But I feel like I need to share these wins with you because I’ve never felt this good in my life, and I want to thank you for reading and supporting me here over the past five years.
Now it’s time to log off as I’m off with my family to Fiji for the week to celebrate! Our first overseas adventure!
Just. Keep. Moving.
Ben
Excellent - nothing wrong with bragging! You’ve worked hard to make this happen!
Great to hear Ben. Very happy for you. Enjoy Fiji! 🌴🌺☀️🌊
