And at
‘s (R4R) 4th birthday last night, we heard another example of that when Breeny (the founder) had someone quietly pull him aside.The person wanted to thank him for his efforts, then said they’d tried to kill themself 6 weeks ago.
But on doctor’s orders, they were told to come join us and now feeling better.
Hearing this gave me goosebumps and makes me believe even more that our mission of making the ACT suicide free by 2033 is possible.
I love this community.
It’s helped me stay active in retirement and I’ve made a ton of lifelong friends.
And the best bit is I know I’m far from the only one who feels like that, as we’re hearing more and more stories like the one from last night.
