Which is exciting, because we aren’t about running. We’re about exercising with friends… whatever the sport.
But the demand has become a bit overwhelming, and I wonder if R4R is stretching itself too thin.
Or maybe that’s just how it feels now that I’m only working on it one day a week and trying to cram a lot in.
Truth be told, chasing these opportunities is the most fun I’ve ever had in my life.
And we’ve got an incredible team all chipping in and working towards a suicide-free Canberra.
I couldn’t be luckier that Breeny emailed The Dock all those years ago, asking if we’d host a "one-off run for mental health."
Because what a journey that kicked off!
Since he’s moved to the coast, we call each other every week to check in. And each time I walk away feeling lighter and bloody grateful to call him a mate.
So on this week’s episode of the R4R pod, we decided to hit record on one of those weekly check-ins.
No script, no plan.
Just us, talking honestly about how we’re going and where R4R is at.
The pod is building momentum, but would love to know what you think.
